Boarding kennels

The New Forge Pet Hotel boarding kennels provide a secure, comfortable environment for your dog where they will receive a real home from home experience including regular exercise, attention to every detail and a level of care which is second to none.

Our boarding kennels are managed for quality of service and we restrict our numbers.

Kennel accommodation is spacious, heated and hygienic and the essentials of bed and food are provided, although you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bedding and food if you prefer.

We aim to make you dog’s stay as stimulating as possible and every dog is walked three times a day, every day, regardless of conditions. We will shortly have an indoor exercise area and we ensure plenty of personal contact with all of our dogs throughout their day.

And our own commitment to the well-being of your dog is underpinned through 24/7 access to the services of our local vet and our fully insured status.

Your booking

Just give us a call to discuss your particular requirements and we’ll confirm your price and finalise your booking. There’s no deposit needed (payment is made on arrival or when you collect your dog).

You can drop off and collect your dog at the boarding kennels at any time during our normal opening hours; we do not have any restriction on when you can call, but to avoid delays, please be aware that our busiest time at the kennels is up to 10am.

There are just a few things we ask you to bring with you when you drop your dog off:

 

  • Proof of up to date vaccinations / boosters / microchip number and Insurance details
  • Any medication your dog needs to take (enough to cover their stay with us) and instructions on administration
  • Any special food (enough to cover their stay)
  • A collar and lead
  • Don’t forget the favourite toys!
  • Bedding – we supply this, but if you prefer you can supply your own.
  • We advise that your dog be treated for fleas and worms

Our boarding kennel prices are competitive and rather than provide a confusing rate list with every possible option, please contact us and we’ll give you the price for your dog based on your specific needs – so you know exactly where you stand.

OUR COLLECTION & DELIVERY SERVICE

We also offer a ‘pet taxi’ service to get your dog to the kennels and home again. Just let us know you are interested in this when you make your booking and we’ll give you the full details and finalise the arrangements.
